Launch of the "Global Youth for SDGs: Empowering Future Leaders" Project on October 1st, 2024
On October 1st, 2024, the opening meeting for the Global Youth for SDGs: Empowering Future Leaders project was successfully held online via Zoom. This project, accepted by the European Union, aims to introduce the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to young people, empowering them to become knowledgeable, responsible, and participatory global citizens who can contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future.

The project focuses on youth aged 17-25, particularly those from underrepresented and vulnerable groups, ensuring inclusivity and equal participation. International partners from various countries have joined forces to foster global partnerships and exchange ideas for sustainable solutions. The core partners which are partipicating the meeting:

NGOs and SMEs involved in the project are crucial in driving activities, sharing knowledge, and ensuring its overall success. Volunteer trainers and mentors are also contributing their expertise to guide young participants, transferring knowledge and supporting skill development throughout the project.
This inaugural meeting marked the official start of the project, setting the stage for a collaborative and impactful initiative that will engage young people and create lasting contributions toward the SDGs.
